Aftertrace — The World Forgets, Your Map Remembers cover

An unseen shore lies between you and the exit. Your first journey carries no ember: it carries a question. Which tiles can you trust?

Let the cracks teach you

Tap a neighbouring tile. A crack ends the attempt, but Rewind brings you back with the discovery still marked. Your steps refill; your map stays. Find the diamond signal before heading for E.

A crack ends a loop, leaving a mark on the map

Return with the ember

Reaching the exit once is reconnaissance, not victory. Tap Carry to reset the shore and take an ember across the route you learned. Safe tiles, discovered cracks and the signal remain on your map, while your position and step allowance restart.

The remembered route guides a fresh attempt

Three shores to remember

Each new shore clears the map. Later routes bend back on themselves, so the shortest-looking path may miss the signal. You can Rewind at any time during a crossing; Forget clears the current shore and its discoveries. After all three deliveries, Again starts a fresh journey.
