Today's puzzle
Today's Darkwaar is Darkwaar22.
The board is a diamond. Five columns, four rows. The near two rows are yours. You place up to three creature cards, and the tray plays itself.
The identifier is 2026-10-06-01M48AFR803FFXA93H4F (darkwaar22).
How to play
- Tap a card, then a near cell. Tap a placed shape to lift it
- Resolve. The other side acts first. The front row acts before the back row
- A Mote pulses. A Needle steps or stabs. A Hook pulls its column, then bites
- A Lamp makes each orthogonal ally act again. A Jaw cleaves the next row. A Bud becomes two Motes when it would die
- Soon acts before the other side. Again runs the rule twice. Stay cannot be pulled
- Clear the tray. Take one card. Four encounters win. A wipe, or enemies left when the beats end, loses
- Restart puts the opening hand back: Hook, Jaw, Lamp, Mote

The core
Each shape is a rule about where the others should stand.
A Hook cares about its column. A Jaw cares about the row in front of it. A Lamp cares about who is orthogonal to it. Put the Hook where a pull lands in the Jaw, and put the Lamp between them, and the pull and the cleave both happen twice.
Soon is the same idea in time. The marked shape acts before the other side, so a pull can land before a Needle steps out of the line.
The opening hand can already do this. The later trays ask you to move the line.
