Today's puzzle
Today's Darkwaar is Darkwaar21.
The board is a cube. One hundred and twenty-five cells, five along each edge. A piece stands somewhere in that volume. There is no floor that the rules prefer.
The identifier is 2026-10-05-01M45R31801RX0NT0YAR (darkwaar21).
How to play
- Tap one of your pieces. Mint cells are steps. A rust cell is an attack
- A striker moves one cell, or strikes the next cell, along X, Y, or Z
- A beam fires up to three cells along one of those six directions. It stops at the first piece
- One action, then the enemy answers
- The sphere is the core. It does not move and it does not attack. Three hits end it
- Z− and Z+ make one wall solid, so the cube can be read. TURN walks around it
- CORE DOWN wins. CORE LOST loses. RESTART puts the pieces back

The core
There is no privileged ground plane.
Up and down are directions, the same as left and right and forward and back. A striker steps one cell on any of the six. A beam uses the same six, and the first piece on that line is the end of the shot: an enemy is the target, a friend is a wall.
The core sits in the volume and waits. Yours has to stay up. Theirs has to come down.
Z− and Z+ are only for reading the cube. They do not change the rule. A step off the current wall is still a step, and it can be tapped on the wall it lands on.
