Echo March cover

Darkwaar’s 42nd experiment gives several survey drones one tiny command tape. They all read the same instructions, but each begins from a different place and heading. One program must become every path.

Write once, march together

Tap a numbered slot to cycle through MOVE, LEFT, RIGHT, and HOLD. Once the tape is full, press MARCH and watch the fleet resolve it in lockstep. A left turn is always local to the drone reading it, so the same bend sends differently oriented drones in different directions.

Read every failure

Each step is visible. A drone can leave the mapped island, touch a magenta void marker, meet another drone on the same tile, or cross it head-on. When a route breaks, Echo March names the collision and keeps the tape intact. Rewind the board, change one slot, and send the signal again.

The first survey teaches a shared straight line. The second asks three headings to interpret the same pair of turns. The final crossing lets routes reuse space, but never at the same moment.

A luminous survey table

The archipelago floats above a navy contour grid. Basalt-blue blocks, emissive beacons, compact drone silhouettes, soft fog, and colour-matched labels keep each route readable from the isometric camera. The entire world fits on one portrait playfield with the command tape always in reach.

Play Echo March

Fill the tape, follow each nose, and land every colour on its matching beacon. All three surveys take only a few minutes.
